Meet Karen

Coach, Leadership and Team Development Expert, Workshop Provider, Training Designer

​Helping clients turn vision into reality is Karen’s passion. Karen is a business consultant, executive coach, and facilitator. From Fortune 500 companies to non-profits all over the country and around the world, it is her privilege to have worked with clients such as AT&T, Spectrum, Duke Clinical Research Institute, McDonald’s, and United Airlines.

Clients come to Karen for her collaborative style. With 35 years of experience in leadership development, team development, instructional design, and strategic planning, Karen serves as a catalyst for change as she builds on existing strengths, and finds creative, efficient solutions to problems.

Prior to consulting, Karen spent several years with Arthur Andersen and Accenture in a variety of change management roles. She was responsible for the training and development of 30,000 professionals globally.

 

When facing personnel or efficiency issues, management or system transitions, or other challenges faced in a dynamic organization, count on Karen to implement programs to help the leader, team and organization succeed.

Education

Karen holds an M.S. in Instructional Design and Technology with an Organizational Development emphasis. She holds a BA in Psychology with an emphasis in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and a Minor in Spanish.

 

She holds numerous certifications, serves as keynote speaker and panel member for various associations. In one Fortune 500 organization, two workshops Karen designed received highest evaluation scores consecutively over the past 6 years.

 

In addition, her contribution to McDonald’s Spanish as a Second Language web-based training received honorable mention from the Association for Multimedia Communications.
